McMann scored twenty goals in sixty-three games in 2024-2025 after fifteen goals in fifty-six games in 2023-2024, but finished the regular season on an eleven-game scoreless drought and posted three assists in thirteen playoff games. Consistency is the main hurdle. His size and heavy forechecking, producing 100-plus hits in each of the last two seasons, add a power element to the Leafs' forwards and will factor heavily in determining his role and next contract.
