Luke Rowe, 27, from Succasunna, New Jersey, signed a one-year contract with the Bridgeport Islanders for the 2025-26 season after two AHL seasons with the Ontario Reign. He played five years at the Air Force Academy and served as the Falcons' captain for three seasons, crediting the role with teaching leadership and maturity. A 2019 Department of Defense policy allowed him to delay active duty so he can pursue professional hockey, but he will fulfill his obligation afterward.
