"You knew we wouldn't let @TJOshie77 stay away for that long 🎙️📺,"
"I'm hoping I get into some broadcasts. I will be doing things with the Caps on a part-time basis. I want to be linked with them for as long as I possibly can, because I love the organization so much, them and Monumental."
Monumental Sports Network announced that TJ Oshie will join its broadcast team for Washington Capitals coverage and programming for the upcoming NHL season. Oshie will appear on Capitals shoulder programming and MNMT original shows. Shoulder programming comprises pre-event and post-event broadcasts that accompany live sporting events. Oshie retired in June after nine seasons with the Capitals and a chronic back injury; his Capitals totals include 76 power-play goals, 192 goals, and 385 points, with 695 career points (302g, 393a) in 1,010 NHL games. Monumental will air 70 Capitals games locally in 2025–26 and will broadcast six of the team's 18 national games, with four also airing locally and two subject to local blackout.
