Patriots reveal Terrell Williams' new title after replacing him with Zak Kuhr

Outside linebackers coach Zak Kuhr assumed defensive play-calling duties and helped develop one of the league's best defenses. After Williams completed treatment, the team announced his return in a new capacity. Williams is now officially an assistant head coach focused on defensive strategy, while Kuhr continues as defensive coordinator. Williams will concentrate on defensive identity, front structure, and edge-to-interior consistency. His mentorship supports Kuhr, who at 37 years old made a significant jump into the coordinator role.
