"The incident unfolded just before 9 a.m., when Dubuisson allegedly jumped into a white Hyundai Santa Fe at a gas station on Parsons Boulevard while the engine was running. A station employee tried to stop him, leading to a physical struggle. Video footage showed Dubuisson then motioning as if reaching for a weapon tucked in his waistband. Witnesses reported that Dubuisson threatened a nearby woman by simulating a firearm and saying he would kill her."
A 28-year-old Brooklyn man allegedly initiated a violent crime spree in Whitestone, beginning at a Mobil gas station where he jumped into an unattended Hyundai Santa Fe. He allegedly struggled with a station employee while motioning as if reaching for a weapon, then threatened a woman and used a metal hook to force a Toyota Highlander driver to surrender keys. While fleeing, he allegedly struck a woman and her 87-year-old mother, fracturing the daughter’s wrist. An NYPD detective pursued the suspect and was wounded during a friendly-fire shootout. The suspect was arraigned on 18 felonies, remanded, and faces up to 32 years if convicted.
