The New York Post reveals that 'The Walking Dead: Dead City' will experience a major promotional event in Manhattan to celebrate its Season 2 premiere on May 4. Interactive pop-up events, photo opportunities with stars like Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and themed occurrences at the Brooklyn half marathon are planned. The sequel is the fifth series in the franchise and focuses on a post-apocalyptic New York City, revisiting characters originally introduced in the earlier series. A special screening of the premiere will also include a Q&A session with the cast.
Lauren Cohan, the star and executive producer of the show, exclusively told The Post, "I'm really excited for fans to see what's in store! This takeover is one of the biggest and most interactive experiences 'The Walking Dead' has ever done, and is the perfect way to kick off the new season."
