A trio of thieves has executed a widespread ATM scam, stealing more than $70,000 from elderly individuals in the Upper East Side. Surveillance footage captured two men and a woman involved in at least nine crimes across multiple banks from May 8 through June 26. The largest theft occurred on June 19, where an 86-year-old woman lost almost $24,000. Other victims included a 90-year-old and an 83-year-old woman who had significant amounts stolen the same day. Police believe additional criminals may be involved, but no physical harm came to the elderly victims.
