
"According to law enforcement sources, the horrific attack took place near Clove Road and Giles Place in Grasmere just after 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21. Three individuals two males and one female wearing a face mask approached the 40-year-old victim before an argument ensued. It then escalated to a physical attack, police said. Two suspects began brutally beating the man before the third tossed a cup containing an unknown liquid at his face, causing him to fall to the ground."
"Officers from the 122nd Precinct arrived at the scene, but not before the suspect fled the location on foot, heading westbound on Clove Road to parts unknown. EMS also arrived and rushed the man to Staten Island University Hospital North Campus. The victim suffered significant physical injuries to his face and permanent scarring as a result of the attack, police said. He was listed in stable condition at the hospital."

Two suspects brutally beat the man while a third threw a cup of unknown liquid at his face, causing him to fall; one attacker then viciously stomped on the man's head. Officers from the 122nd Precinct and EMS responded and transported the victim to Staten Island University Hospital North Campus. The victim suffered significant facial injuries and permanent scarring and was listed in stable condition. Police released surveillance photos and detailed suspect descriptions on Dec. 23; no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
