Two masked suspects approached a 30-year-old man in front of 96-21 57th Ave. in Corona, Queens on February 21. One suspect fired a gun, striking the victim in both legs. The injured man was transported to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. The suspects escaped in a white Econoline van equipped with a ladder rack, black tarp on the front right panel, and latch locks on rear doors, last seen on the Cross Island Parkway. The license plate remains unidentified. The NYPD released photos of both suspects and the vehicle. No arrests have been made, and authorities seek public assistance.
