Roscoe Danielson, 42, of East Elmhurst was sentenced to 50 years to life after convictions for murder and concealing a body. Both victims were killed on July 4, 2023. On July 5 Danielson dragged a large black garbage bag to a curb outside 32-41 104th St; a passerby called 911 after noticing a strong odor and apparent blood. Police found Kyle Danielson, 31, decomposing inside the bag with a gunshot wound to the torso and about 50 stab wounds. Officers later executed a warrant at Danielson's home and found Cheryl Myrick stabbed roughly 38 times. A 9 mm handgun and a knife were recovered after Danielson was stopped pushing a stroller.
