Fisherman stumbles across a huge BLACK iceberg off the coast of Canada
Briefly

A fisherman off the coast of Newfoundland spotted a rare black iceberg that stood out due to its unusual color and shape, causing much intrigue. Icebergs typically appear white due to air pockets within the ice. However, this iceberg may have developed its black color through the inclusion of debris from earlier glaciers. Glaciologist Dr. Lev Tarasov suggested that as icebergs roll and melt over time, they can reveal different parts, which explains the iceberg's unique appearance and form.
It's not only that he is all black. He is almost...in a diamond shape.
Icebergs traditionally appear white because they are filled with tiny pockets of trapped air that scatter all wavelengths of light.
It's melting away. So I think a lot of that ice is melted away. Maybe the part that's clean is underneath?
It would take a long time for this debris to become as uniformly mixed through as it appears in the image.
