Rangers lines today include Perreault-Laba-Othmann - Blue Seat Blogs
"Per Vince Mercogliano, the Rangers lines today will consist mostly of kids and AHL guys today against the New Jersey Devils. Notable NHLers in the lineup today are Jonathan Quick, Juuso Parssinen, Taylor Raddysh, Jonny Brodzinski, Will Borgen, and Urho Vaakanainen. Everyone else is either AHL bound or in a deep competition for a roster spot. Gabe Perreault, Noah Laba, and Brennan Othmann will play today and will probably be the Rangers top scoring line for the game."
"On defense, I wonder if we will see Morrow play on his off-side, perhaps with Borgen. Morrow is a solid puck mover and shifting to his off-side would put him at a better angle to move the puck up the ice, though with some risk. I wouldn't be surprised to see Vaakanainen and Borgen get some minutes together too, just to see where Vaakanainen stands with the coaching staff."
The Rangers will skate a lineup composed largely of prospects and AHL players, with Jonathan Quick, Juuso Parssinen, Taylor Raddysh, Jonny Brodzinski, Will Borgen, and Urho Vaakanainen as the notable NHL presences. The forward group includes Perreault, Laba, Othmann, Parssinen, Raddysh, Rempe, Roobroeck, and others. The likely top scoring trio is Gabe Perreault, Noah Laba, and Brennan Othmann. Parssinen and Raddysh project as a potential shutdown pairing. Matt Rempe and Dylan Roobroeck are large-bodied forwards who could create mismatches. Scott Morrow may play his off-side to support puck movement. Jonathan Quick starts with Dylan Garand backing up.
