Dodgers World Series opponent says atmosphere better at WBC

"It's been bigger. The World Series I was in. The crowd here, the crowd we had when we played Mexico. It's bigger and better than the World Series. The passion these fans have. There's nothing like it."

Aaron Judge, the reigning AL MVP and three-time MVP, is captaining Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Having played in the 2024 World Series against the Dodgers, Judge directly compared the two events and concluded the WBC generates a superior atmosphere. He highlighted the crowd size and fan passion at WBC games, particularly during matches against Mexico, as exceeding what he experienced in the World Series. Team USA advanced to the WBC final after defeating the Dominican Republic, returning to international baseball's biggest stage following a 2023 final loss to Japan.
