Rookie Kaleb Johnson permitted a Jason Myers kickoff to bounce into the end zone, and Seahawks backup George Holani recovered it for a touchdown under the NFL’s new kickoff rules. The rules state that any kickoff that lands between the goal line and the 20 and then goes into the end zone must be returned or downed; otherwise the ball remains live. Potential replacements include Kenneth Gainwell, Trey Sermon and Roman Wilson. Johnson expressed remorse for the error.
