Cupertino to celebrate Persian New Year

"The League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale is looking for volunteers to help with the June 2 primary election in June and the Nov. 3 general election. Volunteers can act as drop box couriers, vote center couriers, or coordinators for a Logistics and Supplies Center at the Registrar of Voters office."
"Volunteers must be age 16 or older. They're not required to be residents of Santa Clara County or be a registered voter. Teams of two are required for all the jobs, and training is required. The league's group training will be at 2 p.m. on May 5, 6 or 7, depending on volunteers' preference."
