She tried living with a friend and later with her older daughter in New York, but neither fit. She returned to Florida without a plan and accepted her younger daughter's offer of a mobile home on the daughter's property. She moved in permanently and named it The Teapot. The mobile home is small, easy to care for, and fits the possessions she cherishes. The size helps with balance and safety. Her only complaint is an insufficient number of electrical outlets.
