A Lions team for 2029 has been created, focusing on players currently under 30 capable of challenging New Zealand. Among these players, Kinghorn, at 28, remains an emerging talent. Despite facing challenges in earlier matches against the First Nations and Pasifika XVs, he demonstrated resilience, performing well in subsequent games. His continued development is bolstered by playing at Toulouse, indicating his potential for growth in the coming years.
In 2025, we have not yet seen the best of Kinghorn − although, after a few errors against the First Nations and Pasifika XV, the Scot was strong off the bench in the second Test and started the third.
A year younger than Hugo Keenan, Kinghorn (28) has the potential to go from strength to strength in the coming years.
Playing club rugby at Toulouse helps, too.
