Dean Cain defended federal agents who fatally shot VA nurse Alex Pretti in Minnesota, saying Pretti made a mistake by approaching law enforcement. Cain suggested Pretti may have been committing a felony by obstructing ICE and federal agents, and that agents may have attempted a takedown to stop obstruction. Cain said engaging physically with armed federal law enforcement was a very bad idea and that being present would provide better perspective on agents' actions. Cain alleged Minnesota leaders encouraged citizens to confront federal officers, a claim TMZ's Harvey Levin disputed. Cain said he was unaware of rhetoric branding Pretti a domestic terrorist.
