The Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon sold out on April 3 in its quickest time ever as a warm-up to the full Dublin Marathon on October 26. The full marathon raises around €9 million annually for official charity partners including Epilepsy Ireland, Jigsaw and the Irish Cancer Society. Clare's Jake O'Regan won the men's race in 1:07:18, with Gavin Curtin second in 1:08:33 and David Glynn third in 1:09:47. Caitlyn Harvey won the women's race in 1:18:44, Maebh Brannigan was second in 1:18:57 and Fiona Stack third in 1:21:30. Several runners reported increased confidence and personal best improvements ahead of October's marathon.
