Zelenskyy, Starmer Seek To Keep Focus On Ukraine's Defense Against Russia As Iran War Diverts Attention

"I think it's really important that we are clear that the focus must remain on Ukraine. There's obviously a conflict in Iran going on, in the Middle East, but we can't lose focus on what's going on in Ukraine and the need for our support. Putin can't be the one who benefits from a conflict in Iran, whether that's oil prices or the dropping of sanctions."

Zelenskyy positioned Ukraine as a security provider rather than a dependent, highlighting his country's drone warfare expertise and deployment of 200 military experts to the Middle East. He revealed that Russia has upgraded Iranian Shahed drones with its own technology, creating a weapons partnership between Moscow and Tehran that threatens regional stability.
