The first North American tour of 'Moulin Rouge! The Musical' will be performed at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts from July 8-13 as part of Broadway San Jose's season. The show, inspired by Baz Luhrmann's film that won 10 Tony Awards, integrates over 160 years of music, featuring both classic and contemporary hits. Additionally, the Italian American Heritage Foundation will hold its 43rd Family Festa on July 26-27, commemorating its 50th anniversary. This free cultural festival offers food, music, cooking demos, and activities aimed at celebrating Italian American heritage.

The Italian American Heritage Foundation (IAHF)'s 43rd Italian Family Festa, set for July 26-27, will also mark the 50th anniversary of the IAHF.
Festival highlights include a grape stomp, a wine garden, Roman encampment and swordsmanship demos, An Italian Fashion Show, a children's zone and a cultural and culinary stage.
The event supports scholarships, local nonprofits, and community outreach. Last year the IAHF awarded over $12,000 in scholarships.
