In a heartfelt farewell, the author resigns as President of the oldest LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce, citing the strong unity and resilience of the community. Reflecting on the past year, key efforts included engaging with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, restructuring the board, and enhancing community events. The author expressed gratitude to board members, sponsors, and allies for their unwavering support and commitment. As the organization moves forward, it aims to tackle various challenges while fostering inclusivity and collaboration within the LGBTQ+ business community.
During my tenure, we focused on our purpose, engaged with the NGLCC, listened to members, and successfully restructured our board to lead us forward.
