San Jose Jazz Summer Fest will be held from August 8-10, showcasing jazz, blues, and salsa music alongside a diverse range of food and beverage options. Approximately 30 vendors will set up at Plaza de Cesar Chavez and nearby stages, providing a variety of culinary delights. New vendors include Angelicakes, The Saucy Hut, Drae's Lemonade, and Yakitori Yado offering unique dishes. Returning favorites like Nita Bee's and Lord of the Ribs BBQ will also be present, ensuring a wide selection for festival-goers to enjoy between performances.
Angelicakes, led by baker Grace Mendiola, will feature a wide array of desserts including banana cream pie, peach-mango turnovers, and cupcakes in twelve flavors.
The Saucy Hut food truck from Oakland is known for its cheesesteak egg rolls, along with a menu that includes hoagies and steak and shrimp fries.
Drae's Lemonade will be offering its signature fresh lemonades in unusual flavors like Watermelon Yuzu, drawing long lines from festival-goers.
Returning favorite Nita Willis of Nita Bee's will provide sweet potato and pecan pies, along with fruit cobblers and jambalaya, in her final appearance at Summer Fest.
