"Free Beginners Swing Lessons | Noon to 12:30 pm Lindy in the Park offers a free weekly beginning swing dance lesson, taught by Hep Jen. The lessons are short, easy and fun and then you can practice your new steps with the whole group until 2 pm. No partner is required, as they rotate leaders and followers throughout the lesson."
Lindy in the Park is a free weekly outdoor Lindy Hop swing dance gathering on JFK Drive between 8th and 10th behind the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The event runs Sundays 11am–2pm with a free beginners lesson taught by Hep Jen from noon to 12:30pm. Lessons are short, easy, and partner rotation allows participation without a partner. Dancing continues until 2pm. Rain and Bay to Breakers cancel the event; otherwise it occurs every Sunday, including holidays. On rare cancellations organizers post by 10am Sunday. In-person activities resumed June 20, 2021.
