"SOMA Nights aims to foster a sense of community by connecting residents and local businesses during the Folsom Streetscape Project which is putting multiple legacy businesses at risk of closing. Hallan Street will be closed to traffic from 5-9p Langton Street will be closed to traffic from 5-9p Our monthly events encourage collaboration and creativity bringing together local businesses who have operated in SOMA for the past 3 decades who need local support to survive through the major street construction."

Music City SF has opened its stable of local bands, who will be performing in the streets and in four bars-Driftwood, Deccant, Azucar Lounge, and Enterprise Brewing. On Langton Street, Here & There Records will spin vinyl and keep the dance floor moving until 9 p.m."

SOMA Nights organizes regular monthly art, food, and cultural events along Folsom Street between 6th and 12th streets, with over 20 businesses participating, pop-up vendors, performances, and street activations. Hallan and Langton Streets will be closed to traffic from 5–9 p.m. Special food, drinks, and events run 5–9 p.m. along the 6th–8th corridor, while over 15 clubs continue programming from 9 p.m.–2 a.m. The Folsom corridor is designated as one of five new entertainment zones to boost small businesses affected by the Folsom Streetscape Project. The May 22, 2025 kickoff features local bands and four host bars.
