A legendary San Francisco sports bar adds a delicious new twist
"Once we took ownership and got back into what had been an office area and garage, we realized there was actually enough room to make it work,"
"It wasn't obvious from the outside, but when we saw how much space was back there, we knew we could build something functional."
Joe Wallace and Robert Lemons purchased the Final Final in July 2024 and completed a 19-month remodel of the Cow Hollow sports bar at 2990 Baker St. The renovation moved the bar six feet back to create more standing room, introduced house cocktails including prebatched martinis kept ice cold, and preserved the bar’s unfussy neighborhood vibe cherished by longtime patrons and visiting sports figures such as Tim Lincecum, Klay Thompson and Joe DiMaggio. A fully equipped kitchen now produces Buffalo wings, curly fries and a smashburger developed with veteran chef Paul Toxqui; the new food menu debuted on Monday.
