Jewish Deli-Inspired Restaurant (With Cocktails) Coming to the Marina
Briefly

Causwells is transforming its second space, previously known as Lilah, a low-ABV cocktail and snack bar, into a Jewish deli-inspired establishment called Super Mensch. This shift comes after the team, led by chef Adam Rosenblum and beverage director Elmer Mejicanos, decided that the low-ABV model wasn’t generating sufficient business. The new menu will feature house-cured pastrami, matzah ball soup, and high-ABV cocktails inspired by NYC deli culture, leveraging the now-available full liquor license to enhance the offerings.
"Creating a space around low-ABV cocktails was an incredible creative challenge," says Mejicanos. "We're proud of what we built with Lilah, but when the chance to get a full liquor license presented itself, we couldn't pass it up."
"Imagine if Katz's Deli was a cocktail bar inspired by the nostalgic flavors of NYC deli culture," says a rep for the restaurant, Lisa Nourse.
