Five athletes connected to Harvard are among the competitors at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, including a current Extension School student who debuted at 17. Alumnus Rémi Drolet '24 is representing Canada and pursuing a second Olympic appearance after debuting in Beijing 2022. Drolet has been competing on the World Cup circuit in Europe and undertook altitude training in Switzerland while preparing for the Games. He credits age and prior Olympic experience with improved pressure management and cites Harvard lessons in maximizing situations and balancing responsibilities as beneficial to his training and performance.
