Palisades Tahoe is hosting a series of International Women's Month events throughout March 2026 centered on connection, confidence, and community. Carving Cats offers a women's snowboard community ride day for all skill levels, fostering camaraderie and confidence on snow with après celebrations. Author Lisa Arnbrister Barbash presents readings from her historical nonfiction work, Four Women and a Mountain, which chronicles the stories of four pioneering women—Sandy Poulsen, Jeanne Reuter, Neata Arnbrister, and Sherry McConkey—whose resilience shaped the Olympic Valley and North Lake Tahoe region through firsthand interviews, diaries, and oral histories.
