"While some of us are hunting powder runs or perfectly built park routes, there are many skiers out there who make it to the mountain in search of the longest continuous runs possible. The leg burners, as what might call them, often run from mountain tops to bases, with stunning views the entire way. German ski instructor Marius Quast compiled his top 5 favorite longest ski runs in the world. These aren't necessarily the longest runs by measurement, but the notorious long runs that offer the best skiing experience."
"Schwarze Schneide, Sölden, Austria - Starting at 10653 feet, this around 9.3 mile run (measured at 7.3 miles) descends from high-alpine views through moderate sections and forest trails to the village. The Last Spike, Revelstoke, Canada - Listed as around 9.3 miles (measured at 6 miles), this run features wide groomed slopes ideal for carving and freeriding, connected by various trails to the valley station."
