"Ahead of the 2027 World Cup, the Lionesses will play Brazil, Australia, China and Ghana, with all four games set to be shown live on ITV. The back-to-back Euros winners begin their World Cup qualification in February but ahead of that they will welcome Brazil to Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Saturday, 25 October. England last met Brazil in the inaugural Women's Finalissima at Wembley in 2023, winning a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw."
"It's great that we can return to action after our incredible summer, with four exciting fixtures at home. It's very nice to begin against Brazil and it is also special for us to be able to play again for our fans in Manchester for the first time since Euro 2022. We love taking the team around the country, so to also play Australia in Derby, and Ghana in Southampton, as well as the China fixture at Wembley, gives us a lovely way to say thank you for the incredible support we have had this year and before."
The Lionesses will stage a homecoming series of matches against Brazil (Etihad Stadium, 25 October), Australia (Pride Park, 28 October), China (Wembley, 29 November) and Ghana (St Mary's, 2 December). All four games will be broadcast live on ITV. England begin World Cup qualifying in February but will play these fixtures beforehand, having last faced Brazil in the 2023 Women's Finalissima, winning on penalties after a 1-1 draw. More than 60,000 tickets have been sold for the Wembley China fixture. Manager Sarina Wiegman emphasized the opportunity to play across the country and thank fans for their support.
