Several major clubs — Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester City — are reportedly interested in acquiring Upamecano during the January window. If Upamecano departs, Kim Min-jae would be the most logical candidate to replace him alongside Jonathan Tah as the starting centre-back duo. There is some speculation that Kim could also seek an exit, however, which would complicate transfer planning.
