Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham and will be sidelined until December. He was substituted after 14 minutes of the 2-0 victory over the Cottagers. Manager Enzo Maresca indicated Delap will be unavailable for 10 to 12 weeks. The 22-year-old transferred from Ipswich to Chelsea for £30m in June. Delap has featured in all three of Chelsea's matches so far this season. The absence removes a forward option for Chelsea during the early months of the Premier League campaign.
