Dominik Szoboszlai's current Liverpool contract runs until 2028 and he expressed a desire to remain at the club while stressing that renewal decisions are not his to make. Liverpool opened talks earlier in the season and regard him as a potential future captain, keen to reward his form. Szoboszlai joined from RB Leipzig in 2023 and has registered eight goals and seven assists in all competitions this season.
