"We need to just keep going one game at a time. We have not done anything yet."
"He can become the best player in the world if he wants to."
"We're the team to beat. As the team to beat, people will try to find all sorts of reasons to say Morocco has an advantage. The only advantage that Morocco has at this Africa Cup is playing in front of 65,000 spectators."
The Africa Cup of Nations has reached the semifinal stage with hosts Morocco and continental heavyweights Egypt, Nigeria and Senegal still in contention. Morocco are Africa's top-ranked team, unbeaten in Rabat since their last AFCON loss to South Africa, and have conceded only one goal in five matches. Morocco beat Cameroon 2-0 in the quarterfinals and benefit from a 65,000-strong home crowd. Coach Walid Regragui urged his side to maintain momentum, confirmed Achraf Hakimi's fitness, praised Brahim Diaz's five goals in five games, and rejected claims of favourable refereeing.
