Revealed: Kane 'has Bayern Munich RELEASE CLAUSE'
"The England captain has less than two years left on his deal with Germany's football leviathans after joining from his beloved Tottenham in 2023. He has become a fan favourite in Munich, largely thanks to the fact he has smashed in 98 goals in 103 games. He is already on 13 this season at club level, almost twice as many as Erling Haaland."
"And there is a pathway home for the 32-year-old, according to German newspaper Bild. The outlet claims that Kane can leave Bayern for £56.7million this summer as long as he announces his intention to leave before the end of the winter transfer window. In the same piece, Bild's sports editor calls for Bayern to actually extend Kane's deal until 2028, believing he can keep up his prolific scoring until his mid-late 30s."
Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham in 2023 and has less than two years remaining on his contract. Kane has scored 98 goals in 103 games for Bayern and has 13 club goals so far this season, nearly double Erling Haaland's tally. Kane left Spurs with 213 Premier League goals, 47 short of Alan Shearer's 260 record. Bild reports a pathway for a summer exit via a £56.7m clause if Kane announces his intention before the end of the winter window, while also proposing a contract extension to 2028. Bayern signed Nicolas Jackson on loan but Kane remains the primary striker. So far, he has shown no sign of intending to leave Munich.
