He was reappointed in 2021, led the Reds back to the WSL and secured a seventh-place finish before leaving in February. Liverpool described him as an extremely committed and successful manager of real integrity and warmth. Burnley also postponed a Women's National League match after his brief stint in charge. A minute's silence will be held before kick-off in games taking place in both the WSL and WSL2.
