LinkedIn is introducing three verification options to authenticate companies, recruiters, and executives to increase platform trust and reduce scams. Company Page verification will be expanded to all companies with a paid Premium Company Page subscription, extending a previously limited-by-request feature. The site will verify members with hiring-manager titles such as "Recruiter" or "Talent Acquisition Specialist" to prevent pseudo-recruiters from collecting applicants' personal information through fake applications. LinkedIn will vet higher-level executive titles including "Executive Director," "Managing Director," and "Vice President" to curb executive impersonation and discourage inflated résumé claims.
