Celebrity Traitors confirms premiere date with dastardly first look
"The Celebrity Traitors has confirmed its launch date with a first look at star-studded cast, containing a host of queer celebs, ready to deceive and backstab their way to the top."
"Welcome, but don't get comfortable. This game doesn't care who you are. In here, your glamorous lives count for nothing. Most of you will be murdered. Sorry about that."
"The LGBTQ+ celebs glimpsed in the first look at the series include Olympian Tom Daley, comedian Alan Carr, singer Cat Burns, author and actor Stephen Fry and legendary sports commentator Clare Balding."
"The Faithful and Traitors will still compete in challenges in order to build up a prize pot, but while the Faithful will aim to root the Traitors out to ensure a fair split between charities of each star's choosing in the final episode, the Traitors will pick the Faithful off murder-by-murder."
The Celebrity Traitors will debut soon with a nineteen-strong celebrity cast competing inside the Traitors castle and hosted by Claudia Winkleman. The lineup includes LGBTQ+ figures Tom Daley, Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Stephen Fry and Clare Balding alongside stars such as Joe Marler, Ruth Codd, Jonathan Ross, Paloma Faith and Celia Imrie. Celebrities will be split into Faithful and Traitors. Both groups will complete challenges to build a charity prize pot. Traitors will secretly eliminate Faithful players one by one. If any Traitor survives to the finale, the surviving Traitor will claim the prize pot for their chosen charity, leaving Faithful with nothing.
