Dusk activates the Novacula, a black-hole–powered bomb, not to target the Mule directly but to punish allied worlds and perceived traitors. The Novacula obliterates Clarion Station, swathes the Cloud Dominion, and destroys pilgrims on Surah, demonstrating a ruthless willingness to kill billions to make a political point and force rapid change across the galaxy.
