An upcoming sitcom portrays the Toledo Truth Teller, part of Enervate Corporation, which produces paper products. The show's creators previously worked on The Office, and the series features Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as Oscar. New characters include Domhnall Gleeson's ambitious incoming editor and Sabrina Impacciatore's current editor. Impacciatore showcases a clickbait article in a memorable trailer moment. The series will release its first four episodes on September 4 on Peacock, followed by new episodes weekly until September 25.
The series will follow the Toledo Truth Teller, a newspaper that makes up a small part of a corporation, Enervate, that sells products made out of paper like toilet paper.
Newcomers include Domhnall Gleeson as the incoming editor of the Truth Teller who is eager to bring the paper back to greatness and Sabrina Impacciatore as the editor he's displacing.
Oscar Nuñez returns as Oscar, who very much does not wish to be filmed at work anymore. 'Not again,' he says at the end of the trailer.
Impacciatore has the best moment in the trailer, proudly showing off an article that is actually just meaningless clickbait: 'You Won't Believe How Much Ben Affleck Tipped His Limo Driver.'
