Robert Irwin, a wildlife conservationist and Dancing With the Stars competitor, tied for the highest score in week one and attempted to teach ballroom steps to his four-year-old niece, Grace. Grace, daughter of Season 21 champion Bindi Irwin, giggled and preferred jumping, skipping and twirling over precise positions as her uncle patiently demonstrated counts he learned from pro partner Witney Carson. Both wore socks without shoes; Robert's were black and Grace's were mismatched pink and purple. Bindi cheered from offscreen while Robert praised Grace's effort, referenced Mirrorball approval, and celebrated with playful exclamations of "10s" and "You won."
