I also think I'm a very different person and performer than I was when I went on the show. Now, in my drag career, this is my ninth year doing drag, I got on the show when I was only three years into drag. I've learned so much about myself, and I have more to show, for sure."
Jan entered the Werk Room on season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race with a signature blend of prep, polish and powerful vocals and became a fan favourite before being eliminated in eighth place. Jan returned for All Stars 6, won a challenge for a Lady Gaga impersonation, but did not reach the finale and acknowledged a disconnect with RuPaul. Jan will make a UK musical debut in OSCAR at the Crown with collaborator Andrew Barret Cox. Jan says she would consider returning, stresses substantial personal and performance growth over nine years of drag, and notes time availability as a caveat.
