Max remains in a coma with her consciousness trapped in an old memory of Vecna. Dustin struggles with grief over Eddie Munson, causing tension with Steve. The group works to support Eleven and Hopper as they search the Upside Down, discover Kali/Eight held in a lab, and face a devastating demogorgon attack at a military base. Will reveals latent supernatural abilities and uses them to protect his friends.
