The Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call regarding missing persons at around 5 p.m. on Sunday, where one individual was reported to be in distress.
Despite attempts by others in the area to assist, a second person subsequently went missing as well, prompting a search effort from local authorities.
On Monday, the bodies of a 24-year-old man from Caledon and a 26-year-old man from Brampton were found by the OPP's underwater recovery unit.
