Abdoul Aziz Sarr, a 14-year-old boy from Toronto, was stabbed near a McDonald's on July 5 and died in hospital. His family described him as a good boy with aspirations of becoming a construction worker. His father learned about the stabbing through social media. His brother expressed difficulty in coping with the loss, and a friend noted the shock of losing someone so close. Two teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder in this case. Sarr's family does not harbor anger towards the assailants.
