Despite a disappointing outcome in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, where the Pacers lost a fourth-quarter lead to the Thunder, Tyrese Haliburton voiced confidence in his team. After the 111-104 defeat, he emphasized the need for resilience and readiness to fight, knowing that they face a critical challenge. Coach Rick Carlisle also identified issues such as rebounding and defensive stops, noting that stagnation affected their performance. The Pacers and Thunder are now tied at 2-2 as they head to Oklahoma City for Game 5.
"As a team you have to be ready to respond when your back is against the wall, and that's where we are right now," Haliburton said.
"An inability to come up with rebounds, an inability to get key stops was a part of it, and then we just got too stagnant," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said.
