Briefly

MVRDV's 'Out of the Box' is a 12,025 sqm residential tower in Tianmu, Taipei, designed with a focus on habitability and efficiency. Developed for Win Sing Development Company, the 25-story structure features a distinctive cantilevered façade with projecting boxes that create loggias and balconies, optimizing space and views. Each of the 93 apartments offers a unique layout, derived from digital scripting that considered varied factors like sun exposure. The building also includes shared amenities and landscaping to enhance the living experience, marking a significant addition to the Taipei skyline.
The project, featuring a cantilevered grid façade, provides panoramic views and unique layouts for each apartment, showcasing innovation in residential design.
The irregular façade of the 'Out of the Box' tower creates a striking contrast with surrounding low-rise buildings, enhancing the urban landscape of Taipei.
