Como Hotels Is Bringing Back Its Ultra-luxury Arctic Yacht Expedition-and It Promises Glaciers, Northern Lights, and Wildlife

So successful was its 2025 debut that " COMO Journey: Into the Arctic " is returning for a further two itineraries in 2026."

"The 10- and 11-night departures in May and September set sail from Longyearbyen, the capital of Svalbard. The exact itinerary will remain fluid, guided by weather conditions, the thickness of the ice, and wildlife spotting opportunities. COMO Hotels and Resorts is returning to the Arctic with two 2026 itineraries aboard the MS Polarfront following a sold-out 2025 debut. The voyages run 10 and 11 nights from Longyearbyen in May and September and are limited to a maximum of 12 guests. The itineraries remain flexible, driven by weather, ice conditions and wildlife opportunities, and showcase ice-capped fjords, islands and abundant Arctic fauna. The program pairs COMO's Shambhala wellness and culinary offerings with specialist expedition leaders in partnership with Natural World Safaris. The May sailing emphasizes continuous daylight; September offers late-season character.
