Newly released police footage shows Jorgensen being interviewed by detectives on the evening of January 29, 2009. Jorgensen did not tell detectives during that interview that she had known about the killings for more than a decade. Howell had confessed to two murders before that interview. The interview records Jorgensen’s account of her response to Howell’s confession and the timing of her knowledge about the crimes. The footage provides direct visual and audio documentation of Jorgensen’s statements to police.
